Roderika Amalie. Dining Room Wallpaper. October 02nd , 2017.
Different chairs, same color. Sort of like the trend in bridesmaids' dresses to have the ladies pick their own dresses as long as they are in the same hue, mixing and matching chair shapes is easy when you match the color. It does help to choose chairs in the same general style (modern, traditional) to keep them feeling like a set.
Diner table and cool wallpaper. To get this quirky, charming look, tuck a classic diner‐style table up to a corner banquette backed with a wall covered in fresh, modern wallpaper. The combination of a corner banquette (to maximize seating) and printed wallpaper (to add depth) is great for small spaces.
Rice paper lantern and kids' art wall. Easy, affordable rice paper pendant lights come in a wide range of sizes and create a lovely glow when lit. A wall with casually taped‐up children's artwork and simple white walls and chairs add up to a welcoming space where creativity can shine.
You can't go wrong with a classic country table. Generally, the country‐style dining table is large and therefore suitable for families or for people who regularly entertain. These tables are usually made from a solid timber, like oak or pine, making them very robust. They also have an uncomplicated design suitable for most schemes, although, pleasingly, many country tables feature elegantly turned legs that support the tabletop. The only real consideration in buying this style of table is whether to go for an upmarket one, such as a French colonial table, or one with the rustic appeal of an English country farmhouse. Whatever you choose to suit your home, you can be assured that both will look drop‐dead gorgeous when they are set and dressed for a country farmhouse feast.
